characters must meet at least 5 of the following symptoms borderline personality disorder symptoms from the DSM-5:
-efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment
-unstable relationships
-distorted self-image
-impulsivity/risk-taking behavior
-suicidal behavior, gestures, ideation or threats, self-harm behavior
-affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety)
-chronic feelings of emptiness
-inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger
-paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms
